OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Ameet Chopra is our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He specializes in tooth extractions, dental implants, anesthesia/sedation, corrective jaw surgery, and trauma surgery. He was born and raised in Southern California, where he attended University of California-Irvine for his undergraduate education. After graduating with honors, Dr.Chopra earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, followed by his Oral Surgery Residency at UCLA.
Dr. Alfred Penhaskashi is our Periodontist. He fills a vital role in treating and preserving the oral health of many of our patients diagnosed with periodontal (gum) disease. Dr. Penhaskashi is also an expert on Implant Surgery who he has placed hundreds of implants throughout his prestigious career spanning over 16 years.
Education has always played a major role in Dr. Penhaskashi’s career. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry and subsequently obtained his certification in periodontics from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Machhadani is our Endodontist. He obtained his dental degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Never the one to shy away from a challenge, Dr.Machhadani relishes the complexities of this work. But the most rewarding part of his job is helping his patients find their smiles again. A lifelong soccer fan, he remains loyal to his favorite team, Futbol Club Barcelona. Dr. Machhadani also enjoys travelings with his wife
Dr. Josh Shayefar is our Periodontist, he is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, and the West Los Angeles Dental Society. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation as well as in Laser assisted periodontal procedures commonly known as LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure).
